Ivo Martin (born 2002) is a German indie pop singer. He grew up in Bornheim, near Bonn. His musical tastes were heavily influenced by his family. His father introduced him to The Beatles, and his first favorite album was Queen's A Night at the Opera. He began learning guitar at the age of six. At 17, he released his first songs. He started posting music on TikTok and performed at the SPH Music Masters, reaching the regional finals. He began sitting on park benches with an acoustic guitar, approaching strangers and asking them for song ideas. After graduating from high school, Ivo applied to the Pop Academy Baden-Württemberg for a music business degree. However, he was rejected. In 2022, he released his debut single, "Verliebt" (In Love). With these early songs, he was discovered by Epic Records Germany and moved to Berlin to further his music career. In early 2024, he began working on his debut album, Puls. The album was finally released on August 30, 2024, and reached number 33 in the German charts.
