Chris Wolff (real name Wolfgang Andreas Ebert) is a German pop singer who rose to popularity in the late 1980s and early 1990s with hits such as "Palma de Mallorca" and "Am Strand von Maspalomas." He formed his own band while studying to be a radio and television technician. In 1982, he moved to West Germany and began his singing career in 1984. In 1987, he entered the ZDF hit parade with a cover version of "Marina." In addition to singing, Chris Wolff is a composer and has written over 200 songs. Some of these songs are written under the pseudonym Erich Bleifuß, such as "Einfach fliegen, einfach frei sein" and "Wenn die Sehnsucht brennt."
